In 2017, 50 years after its debut, Pink Floyd's 15 original albums will be released in two installments, 11/1 and 11/22. This paper jacket, which is a thorough reproduction of the original British LP, will be a worldwide hit as a 'Made in Japan' artistic work created by Japanese craftsmanship.
12 Pink Floyd paper suits were sold out once in 2001 from Toshiba EMI (at that time), showing sales figures unparalleled in paper suit history. After that, although it was desired to make it into a disposable paper jacket for many years, it was not possible to re-release it because of a lack of permission, but after 2016 when all the catalogs were transferred to Sony in Japan, as a result of repeated negotiations with the management, it was officially permitted to release it in a paper jacket specification only in Japan in the commemoration of 50 years since Pink Floyd's debut, and it was realized.
12 titles from 'the whistle of dawn' to 'final cut' will be released for the first time in 16 years, 'Pair (TSUI)' will be released for the first time in 10 years, and 'Eternal (TOWA)' will be released for the first time.
This paper jacket is a new British original analog LP jacket. Due to the improvement of printing technology, the specifications and accessories that were not possible in 2001 were carefully made and reproduced. The belt is a rare Japanese LP first edition belt.
